Rays Baseball 2012

The Rays finished their season on Monday night and I just realized I hadn't posted the first picture. Oops! Here's a few of Evan in action...

After Monday nights game, Evan posted this on Facebook:

*At the start of the final inning, we're down 9-0. My team rallies to make it 9-5 with the bases loaded and 2 outs. Austin Greene steps up and smashes a 3 run triple to make it 9-8. There are 2 outs and I'm up. The first pitch is a strike. The second is a ball. I foul the third off to make the count 1-2.The fourth pitch is inside and I swing. Miss. Game over. Season over. And I finish the game 0-4 on strikeouts. This was the hardest test ever. But I passed because I still choose to praise him. All glory to God.

I knew he was disappointed after the game. But I was so proud of him and thankful that he was able to give God glory, win or lose.
