Easter 2012

I have such fun memories of giant family egg hunts at my grandparents farm in Georgia. There were so many of us grandkids who were always ready to hunt and so many adults who tried to find the hardest possible hiding spots for those eggs... the tradition continues even though we aren't there to share in the fun. So, we hosted our own lunch and egg hunt for our small (large) group!

I did get one quick picture of the kids before we headed out to church that morning... funny how they all wore shades of blue. Totally unplanned. They actually all picked out their own clothes. I'm surprised Noah didn't have on gym shorts and a t-shirt:)

My friends Monica and Alicia were some of the first ones to arrive at our house. It was such a beautiful day so we enjoyed some sunshine while we waited for the others.

The younger boys enjoyed some ball...

and so did the "older" boys!

Sweet friends!

And let the egg hunting begin...

Didn't take Chase long to figure it out... if you throw the egg hard enough, candy pops out!

It was such a fun day with our friends! We missed the Bass, Williams, Taylor, and Zust families but are thankful that they were able to spend some sweet time with their families. We have so much to be thankful for! Thank you Jesus!
