More big wins for the Bulldogs on Saturday! Our Mitey Mite team defeated the Cary Chargers 22-0. Noah had some great tackles and gained alot of yards for the Bulldogs. Here are some of my favorite shots of the day...
Noah asked to get his hair cut off so Chuck buzzed it off Saturday morning. His hair had gotten so long that it's funny to see it this short now. After one of his big runs I heard one of his coaches saying... "Must be that new haircut!"
Once Noah's game was over, he and I headed over to Evan's game which was already in progress. We pulled up at half-time to find the score 0-0 against the Cap City Steelers. They were definitely in a battle. We already knew they would be tough competitors... tall and fast!
This is by far one of the most exciting games I've ever witnessed personally. Most of the game was played between the two 30 yard line markers. What a defensive battle! At the end of regulation we were still tied at zero just like we began the game. The opposing team won the toss and elected to go first in overtime. We held them to 4 and out. OUR TURN. We failed to move the ball on downs 1, 2, and 3. On 4th and goal from the 11, we threw a quick pass down the line of scrimmage to our split end. As he catches the ball, the defense is swarming to make the tackle for a loss.... WHAT?!? He throws the ball to a wide open receiver in the end zone for the win. 6-0, Bulldogs win!!!!
