| The strawberries are ready so we headed out to The Collard Patch for some pickin' fun! |

| First, you grab a bucket (or more) |

| and head for the fields |

| Natalie is practically a strawberry picking expert! |

| She carefully selects and inspects every berry before she puts it in her bucket. She picked the majority of our 6 pounds of berries! |

| This was the "silly berry" she found... she thought it looked like a heart. I thought it resembled a booty:) |

I think I miss this the most about spring in NC. There is NOTHING like picking your own "red, ripe, and ready to pick" strawberries. (My kids always seemed to eat as many as they picked:).)
