You know spring is on the way when you hear the ever familiar sound of the ice cream truck...
slowly creeping through your neighborhood and causing the children in your home (or at least our home) to go crazy! Yep, the ice cream man strikes again.
Chuck had already left for work and had taken Evan with him so it was me, Natalie, Noah, and the neighborhood "crew" lurking around our house. Funny how Noah can't hear half of what we say to him but he can hear that ice cream truck from a mile away:) He was of course the first to proclaim the news... "The ice cream truck is coming... Mom, can I have money for ice cream?" In my mind, I'm thinking "Am I made of money?" We have ice cream in the freezer. Guess it's just not the same. He grabbed his wallet which apparently had a few dollars in it (big shocker) and asked could he use his money. "Yes, you may!" Before I could stop Natalie, she's out the door and expecting a treat of her own. Then I hear the crying and look out the door to see her so upset and watching Noah buy a popsicle and others munching on their own cool treats... it broke my heart. This Mama has never found a $1 so fast...
