EnterMissions 2013

Our church hosts its annual missions conference every February. It's pretty much become one of our favorite things. Ever! Being in a church that sponsors over 30 families on various continents, we are taught to lift up these families and to give extravagantly to help further the Gospel here and around the world. When we first moved here, we'd hear about and pray far flung friends from NW that we'd never met... a few years later, there are many families that we know well that have moved overseas and some from our small group that will be moving in the next couple months! It's so awesome to see these sweet friends ready and willing to serve in tough places.

The EnterMissions weekend  gave our church body many opportunities to speak to FFF's via skype and in person with some who made the trip "home." There was a prayer session, evangelism training, and the popular international dinner and auction for the nations.

Here's some photos from the dinner/auction...

The last photo is the basket that our small group donated for the silent auction. It was a "Taste and See" Wake Forest basket filled with gift cards of local restaurants and fun things to do in WF. It raised $330!

The overall total for the weekend was $42,000. $6,000 given to our NW church plants, $12,000 given to special projects requested by our FFF's, and $24,000 given to the Lottie Moon offering.

This, my friends, is generosity at it's best.
