One last game

Bulldogs vs Apex Cougars - October 20, 2012

Even though it was Women's Day at our church, I wouldn't miss Noah's last game of the season. I've said before that I love to watch my boys play ball. I've been extremely proud of Noah this year and the improvements he's made. So, I went to the first 2 1/2 hours of Women's Day and then changed into my "game day" clothes and headed to the field. Our Jr. Pee Wee team had the first game of many scheduled to play at Durant Rd Middle School. It was the 30th anniversary of North Raleigh Bulldog football and there were lots of fun things planned for the day... a bounce house, lots of food, recognition of scholastic athletes and former players... and lots and lots of Bulldog football.

We lost the game but had lots of fun visiting with friends afterwards and then watching some of the big guys play. We're thankful that even things like football can give us opportunities to serve and minister to others and to grown relationships and make new friends!

Flat Stanley is visiting with us right now, and he really enjoyed  watching the game!
