Disney Days

We just spent a week at Disney for the Pop Warner Super Bowl! It was an awesome week with the Bulldogs... not only did we get to ride coasters and meet characters... we WON the Division II Jr. Midget National Championship! I'll post separately my game day photos, but for now here are some of my favorite Disney moments with the kids. While Chuck, Evan and I were there the entire week, Noah and Natalie split their time between Disney and Georgia. Chuck's Dad brought them back and forth when he came down for the games. We are so thankful for his help with them during the week and they were excited to see family in Georgia too!

Natalie's reaction to seeing the castle for the first time = priceless! We enjoyed meeting Mickey and Minnie and eating Mickey's ice cream. It was one of my favorites as a child!

One of Noah's favorites was the Pirates of the Caribbean ride. Capt. Jack Sparrow was entertaining and Noah left with his own sword!

It seemed that there was a parade at the Magic Kingdom every few hours! They filmed the ABC Disney Christmas parade on Monday morning. Justin Beiber was there and of course people were all over the place trying to get a sneak peek of him! As the floats and characters passed by, I noticed Natalie quietly waving back to her favorites. She was totally captivated!

Best part of Natalie's week... meeting the princesses. She was a little shy but so excited to get her picture with these beauties. Cinderella has always been her favorite but I think she was particularly fond of Belle's dress:) While we were doing "girl stuff" the boys were off with friends riding coasters.

The "bigger" kids had fun at Animal Kingdom and Epcot. Turkey legs were a big hit! They road on the safari, a few water rides, and even some "kiddie" rides just for kicks!

I will never forget Epcot... the picture of the space suit will forever remind me of just how sick I got on Mission to Mars!  It took hours to recover from that ride!

Downtown Disney was probably one of my favorite places. I am not a big fan of coasters so I am content to walk and look and do things that require not leaving flat ground:) Noah loved the Lego store and all the characters made with legos. We visited several stores and got some treats from Goofy's Candy Co. We uncovered dinosaur bones at T-Rex, rode the carousel, saw fireworks, sat by the lake with our fruit slushes, and got lots of exercise!

Hollywood Studios shut down the park at 8pm on Wednesday night for a private party for all the Pop Warner athletes. They had stages set up for dancing, loud music, fireworks, and all the free food you could eat! It was really a fun week and the Florida temperatures were just perfect! So thankful we were able to share this experience together!
