Vacation... all I ever wanted

Here's a few pictures of our mini vacation to Myrtle Beach. With super-duper deals and birthday money, we were able to fund a quick trip. Chuck stayed behind to work and try to get ahead with school work since it is his fall break this week. We were sad to leave him behind but I think he was able to get some much needed reading and writing done while the homefront was quiet:)

Me and the kiddos enjoyed Dunes Village Resort and loved the fact that it was a short 3 hour trip to get there. We left after church Sunday and came home Wednesday in time to make football practice! Our time at the beach consisted of playing at the indoor water park, jumping waves, relaxing in the lazy river, putt-putt, walks on the beach, chillin' in our room, and sitting in the hottub. The kids were thrilled to have the indoor water park to entertain them plus the game room downstairs. We spent alot of time there. Even though there were a few trying moments (one kid being mean to another, one whining, and one with an attitude) it was good to get away from our busy schedules and make memories together...
