In the Mitey Mite division, North Raleigh Red played North Raleigh Black. It was fun to have the whole family there to cheer for Noah since Evan's game wasn't until 6pm that evening. We were all there to see him run nearly 50 yards to score a TD! Go Noah! We are proud of you!
I love being able to meet up with friends at the field too! Lisa's son, Walker, plays for the Titans and his game was right after Noah's... since the players always have to be at the field an hour and a half before their game we got to hang out for a while while the Bulldogs played.
Then, after a yummy lunch at Buffalo Brothers, we headed to Wilder's Grove for some Jr. Midget action. By this time, it was getting much colder outside and the kids had to find ways to stay warm and have fun...
I'm so glad that Natalie will play with any random child that comes along. These kiddos acted like they were a train and went round and round the pavilion. They chased each other and rolled in the grass and had tons of fun.
Meanwhile, I scurried around collecting last minute fundraiser money and calculating totals to turn in to the fundraiser coordinator. JM Red parents and players did a great job selling raffle tickets and collecting money which helped us exceed our fundraising goal for our team. Because we met our goal, our team will be eligible for post-season funding should we make it to Nationals...
and we just might do it!! These guys play hard every moment of every game. JM Red is still unscored on and undefeated!! They just might go all. the. way! Go Bulldogs!
