Easter

We read the story of Jesus' death and resurrection before church on Easter Sunday and watched The Passion of the Christ Saturday night with the boys. We weren't really sure what Noah's response would be, but he watched intently and we explained things throughout the movie when he had questions. It's a tough movie to watch even for an adult, but sometimes it takes that "visual" image of the sacrifice Christ made for us... seeing his wounded body... seeing his love for us... seeing what sacrifice really means. It does put things in perspective for me.

We are thankful that even when we are so far away from our family in GA, we still have family here! Our small group enjoyed a picnic and playtime out at Joyner Park Sunday evening.
