Date Night... Kiddy Style

It's really fun to date your kids! You know, have special times together doing things they enjoy. It doesn't have to be anything extravagant... they just want your attention. So, we try to have "dates" with our kids when we can fit them in.  Last night was "Daddy & Me" Night at Building Blocks Learning Center. Chuck and Natalie got to hang out together and travel through different centers at the preschool. Some of the centers were: The Diaper Changing Station, On The Farm, Construction Zone, Creation Time, Home Living, Fly Zone, & of course, The Snack Bar!
Making crafts is one of Natalie's favorite things to do. So, she was especially excited about the place mat she created with her Daddy last night. I really love the fact that she incorporated shapes and smilies with animals and sports:) She picked the large picture of the animal and told Chuck she wanted to use it because her Papa always hunted those!
So while Natalie and Daddy were out, I decided to take the boys to Sweet Spoons for some frozen yogurt. They had not been there before and were a little skeptical about going... turns out,  THEY LOVED IT!
It's really a fun atmosphere there! Music is playing and there's always alot of people. The boys had fun reading the messages and names hanging on the wall.
It's a self-serve shop, so you you go through and pick your yogurt first...
then top it with all your favs. They even have fresh fruit to add as well.
Noah was overwhelmed! He's the KING of sprinkles. Everything must have sprinkles:) But you have to be careful. Once you prepare your cup of deliciousness, they weigh it to determine how much you pay! I warned him to go easy on the toppings.
Thanks fellas for a fun date with me!
