Home again

So, here we are. Home another day with the flu babies. I took them back to the doctor yesterday because Evan was complaining of a bad sore throat and Natalie still had "gunk" in her eyes. They did a strep test (it came back negative) and said they'd culture it just in case. "He just has the flu!" says the doctor. Wait, wasn't he just here on Sunday and you gave him Tamiflu? And he's got the flu! Geez! "And how's Miss Natalie?" She still has this gunk in her eyes and feels bad. "Oh, well that's pink eye!" Fabulous! So we added another fun medicine for her. However, I have found the trick to getting her Tamiflu in her... singing! Normally she would use a medicine cup but I've used the syringe so I can squirt it in her mouth. Not all at one time, though! Like 3 little squirts while singing random, funny songs. She's ends up thinking more about what I'm singing rather than whats going in her mouth! Hey, whatever works, right?  Noah even came in from school yesterday with a message for Evan... something about a girl on the bus said to tell him that the 5 girls he eats lunch with really miss him at school!!!!!!!! Oh. My. Word! Hopefully these kiddos are on the road to recovery!!
