Entermissions 2011

Last weekend was the annual Entermissions Conference at our church. It's a HUGE deal, to say the least. Friday night was the concert of prayer for the nations and Saturday night was the international dinner extravaganza and auction. There was both a silent auction and a live auction that raised a total of over $27,000! It is awesome to see the generous hearts at work in the body of North Wake Church.
(The photo above is the 'Craft Basket' donated by our small group!)

These are just a few shots of some of the baskets and items donated for the silent auction.

Tents were placed in the worship center and decorated to represent various countries.

Gatekeepers for our 'Far Flung Families' also set up booths so we could all see what our missionaries are up to!

Here's Chuck bidding during the live auction!

There were 3 professional auctioneer's who handled the live auction at the end of the night.
This auctioneer hung close to our table... He made loud noises and made me laugh:)

There was also the Entermissions Kids Tent... full of fun activities to entertain the kiddos. They got to decorate African masks, learn to use chop sticks, get a "passport", have their faces painted, etc. Natalie spent alot of time there!

Here she is, working on her African mask...

And Elizabeth had fun wearing it:)

Me & Lindsay

Sunday morning, we heard a challenging message from the pastor of Covenant Life Church, a NW church plant in Tampa, FL. We were urged to respond appropriately to missions and to surrender fully to His call on our lives.

2.8 billion people across the globe have yet to be reached with the Gospel! What are we doing about it?
