Game Play

This is Noah's new Lego game, Minotaurus. The mighty Minotaur, a mythical creature, protects a secret temple hidden deep inside a labyrinth. Players must lead their heroes to the temple, avoiding the Minotaur and cleverly placing the walls to block your opponents...to do this, you roll the dice and advance that many spaces. If you land on black, you get to move the Minotaur to block an opponent. If you roll and land on gray, you can move a section of the wall. (I'm sure this is crystal clear for you!) Anyway, it can be pretty fun. I said it "can be." Natalie wanted to play, so she was "helping me." But she kept grabbing the pieces before I knew for sure how many spaces to move, which made me forget where my hero was to begin with! Evan got frustrated with everyone because he is a Minotaurus expert. Then, there's Noah who's trying to change the rules! In an effort to help him think before he reacts and to keep him from trying to cheat, I tell him, "Noah, you can't just move where you want to. You have to be fair and play the right way." Well, he gets upset and tells me "It's my game and I can change it!" Little did I know...
The official rule book says:
YOUR GAME - YOUR RULES
The Lego Dice gives you the freedom to change the game and make it your own. You can change the playing area, the pieces and even the rules. Every little change makes it more and more YOUR game.
Seriously, this is just what we needed. A game that allows your kid to change the rules!
