One of the Bulldog team parents owns Cafe Carolina and he offered the restaurant for our end-of-season party over the weekend. We enjoyed a meal and he closed down the restaurant for our "private party!" It was fun for all the boys to be together to just hang out without any pressures to win a game. The head coach put together a video presentation that hi-lighted the entire season... video clips and photos, totaling an hour and 10 minutes long! I guess it has to be long when you have a winning season and all those games! There was lots of laughter, a few teary eyes (mostly mine) and lots of cheering as we re-lived all those touchdowns and big hits...
In case you don't know why we were referred to as Pee Wee "Red"...
There were 3 Pee Wee teams from North Raleigh - Black, Silver, and Red
Evan's trophy, that will be added to the many others in his bedroom!
Not that I want that to sound prideful, but he's played alot of ball in his lifetime!
Not always winning seasons, but always giving his best.
