Natalie received a box of blank notecards Sunday from her teacher at church. She's toted them around the house all week. Talked about them. Looked at them...and desperately wanted to use them! She "wrote" notes to her grandparents a few days ago and today she wanted to do some more. She kept saying, "I need to deliver these to my family!" She asked me to help her with some of the writing (she told me what she wanted it to say) and then she drew a picture and signed her name. Because these special notes were to go to people too far away, I had to explain that we could send them by mail. I then explained the process of addressing, stamping, sealing, and mailing the envelopes. She was so excited (even in the rain) to put the letters in the mailbox by herself!
