We all survived week 1 of football practice! Our days are a little crazy right now. They go a little something like this... up early, off to school, home around 3:30pm, snacks, homework, change clothes, load up by 5pm to head to Raleigh, meet Chuck at Ravenscroft to drop off Noah for practice by 5:15, drive over to Baileywick for Evan's practice, practice from 6:00-8:15, drive home (returning around 8:30-8:45, feed the hungry boys again, showers, bedtime! Meanwhile, I'm packing bags of toys, coloring books, books, snacks, and movies for Natalie to enjoy while we wait at the field for practice to be over. This is 5 days a week right now, then will go to 3 day practices once the season starts.
Evan knows the football "drill" and what to expect. Noah is just learning it all! He has been super excited to be at practice. They conditioned the first week and today they'll start conditioning in full pads. We will see just how excited he is to have on all that stuff! This Saturday they both have practice, a pep rally, and team pictures! The jamboree will be Aug. 21 and opening day is the following week... hopefully, we'll actually have some football weather before too long!
I love it...so excited for you guys. Thanks for the pics. We're doing the same thing right now. Collin is in 8th grade and starting at the slot receiver for the Cougars. Granger is in 6th and playing now with the JV at CA. Things are hectic, but we love it. God Bless you guys....We pray for you often.
