The A's had an exciting game against the Twins last night! The Twins had not lost a game this season and we knew we were up against some great pitching. The team played fall ball together last year so they have had alot of practice. Our boys played tough defense and managed to get ahead of them early on in the game. They came back to tie it up in the 6th inning (normally the last inning) and we had to go into an extra inning. It was already getting late and it was cold outside! I was a nervous wreck. Noah and Natalie were cold and tired and ready to go home. All the parents were anxious to see what the outcome would be! We scored 1 run to bring it to 6-5 with the Twins coming to their last at bat... Connor (our #33) did an awesome job on the mound. Evan did a great job on 1st. With 2 outs and one of their guys on 3rd, Evan made the last out, catching a crazy fly ball that 3 guys were running for... Evan went for it, fell backwards, rolled, and came up with the ball in his glove! Game over! A's WIN! All the players dog-piled Evan:)
