Heading home
We will be heading to Georgia this Thursday to spend a few days with family and friends. Lots to do while we're there... we're celebrating all three of our kids birthdays with one big party, visiting some friends, attending a high school graduation, and finally getting to see baby Logan, a new addition to our family. A camp-out for the kids may also be in the works as well as some swimming! Somehow, we will fit it all in to our short trip. There are days that I long to be closer to my family and be a part of all the 'family gatherings' I am so accustom to. I long for the comfort of home and all it's surroundings and familiar faces. At the same time, I am reminded that God has placed me and my family here, during this season, to learn to rely on Him. While we have been overwhelmed by the goodness of God I sense now that this is just the beginning of a new path God has set before us. I have no idea what the future holds for us, but I am so thankful that I don't have to worry or fear it. My God is in control and He knows what's best for this heart of mine!
